A Child is Born
How wonderful the celebration of the newborn baby boy,
unrealized by the importance of His birth’s deploy.
Taking on the responsibility of what is to come,
a future, for this moment, only revealed to some.
A burden given, not by spite, but by right,
undoubtedly and dutifully, none thus far in such plight.
His true purpose holding the key of life,
a beacon for many, to embrace His light.
A light, a love, so warm, so new,
how the presence of one child can be so true.
I weep at the thought to hold him near,
for he too is my joy, but my grandson, my dear.
Happy birthday to my heavenly Father and Happy Birthday Nazir.
