My Peace I give you…
It is one thing, to wake up to a disturbance brought on by Mother Nature. It is another, to wake up to one incited by humans. For chaotic incitement by another, only reveals pain embedded deeply within. Mangled pain devouring the carrier of the disease. The carrier, seeking a surrogate to victimize, as a result.
Stemming from the most recent killings in Nevada, to the shootings at Virginia Tech, these senseless acts of anger resulted out of someone else’s pain, and, or confusion. My heart cries out to God, as the tears fall for those who have lost loved ones in the aftermath. Lest my heart be anxious, I will pray Lord. I will thank you for all my blessings in hopes that one day, I can be a fundamental instrument in the peace of those who are confused. Until then, I will thank you for the merciful peace given to me, and others, protecting our heart and minds from our heart wrenched grief of the past (Philippians 4:6).
My Prayer for Mornings like October 02, 2017
Lord, make me an instrument of thy peace.
Where there is hatred, let me sow love;
Where there is injury, pardon;
Where there is doubt, faith;
Where there is despair, hope;
Where there is darkness, light;
Where there is sadness, joy.
O divine Master, grant that I may not so much seek
To be consoled as to console,
To be understood as to understand,
To be loved as to love;
For it is in giving that we receive;
It is in pardoning that we are pardoned;
It is in dying that we are born to eternal life.
My Mind is stayed on You…(Isaiah 26:3)
