The August Rush complex

My Christmas wish for all is to experience…. The August Rush.

Spirits in the wind… The voices from heaven…

If I had the voice of an angel, I would lift my voice high for all heavens to rejoice.

He that formed me and made me…

My voice would be my hope. The hope which comes from above. People would be lifted, and all would feel love … if I had the voice of an angel.

If I had the words to change the heart of man, I would speak for all to hear.

He that formed me and made me…

My words would be their salvation. The salvation which comes from above. Hearts would be full, and all would be free…if I had the words to change the heart of man.

Spirits in the wind. The joy from heaven….

Oh, how Wonderous it would be to share the joy which fills my every soul.

God, you are my muse.

Lift my voice…. Form my words… as I catch the spirits which sway in the wind, so they too can feel the breeze of your joy and your love.

I listen and feel your joy and your love, just as I see and hear their confusion and their pain.

As I wear my sob from your warm embrace, I am dizzy from the strength of your gentle hug.

Oh…., the warmth you bring me.

The spirit in the wind will give me air to breathe, and strength to carry on. It will shine a path, and direct my steps.

For Lord, it is you, who sways the wind.

It is you, who fills my spirit with hope and joy.

It is you, who loves me to the depths of my soul.

It is you, who gives me salvation.

It is you, who filled me with the complex of August rush…

John 15: 9-17

9“Just as the Father has loved me, I have also loved you; remain in my love. 10If you obey my commandments, you will remain in my love, just as I have obeyed my Father’s commandments and remain in his love. 11I have told you these things so that my joy may be in you, and your joy may be complete. 12My commandment is this – to love one another just as I have loved you.

IN THE GARDEN
words & music by
C Austin Miles

Verse 1
I come to the garden alone,
While the dew is still on the roses;
And the voice I hear,
Falling on my ear,
The Son of God discloses.

Chorus:
And he walks with me
And He talks with me,
And He tells me I am his own;
And the joy we share as we tarry there,
None other has ever known.

Verse 2
He speaks and the sound of His voice
Is so sweet the birds hush their singing;
And the melody that He gave to me
Within my heart is ringing.

Chorus

Verse 3
I’d stay in the garden with Him,
Tho’ the night around me be falling,
But He bids me go;
Thro’ the voice of woe
His voice to me is calling.

Merry Christmas to All
